YEAR 10 SCIENCE
This week Miss McGiffert's Year 10 Science class started their Biology unit by delving into the fascinating process of extracting DNA from strawberries. This hands-on experiment served as an excellent introduction to the intricate world of molecular biology. Through this activity, students gained valuable practical skills while learning about the basic principles of genetics. The students conducted their own extractions with the aim of extracting as much DNA as they could and tried different methods to do so. Well done on a great start to the Biology unit Year 10's!
