DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

On Friday 4th August, Miss Leonello’s Year 9 Digital Technologies class visited the Lumination Lab in Thebarton. Students were challenged to become Future Thinkers and work as teams to develop solutions for; bushfires and climate change, illegal wildlife trade, invasive species and deforestation.
Students had the opportunity to use VR and AR devices and coding websites whilst exploring these topics. The students had a great time exploring serious topics and identifying problems and solutions in a fun, interactive and creative way.
After this session students went to the Adelaide Show Grounds for the STEM Day Out where students got to explore various experiences around technologies such as interactive workshops, STEM challenges and career expos.
