Year 7 Meet & Greet is Tonight!
Who: Year 7 parents. Students are also welcome!
When: Tonight (2/2/23) from 5.30 to 6.30 pm.
Where: Balaklava High School in your child's homeroom. Staff will be floating around to show you the way.
Why: put a face to a name. Come and meet your child's teachers and hear about what your young person will be learning this semester. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and meet staff.
2023 Port Vincent Year 7 Aquatics Camp
Camp is next week! If you have not returned your child's forms then please do so ASAP. Contact the school with any finance related questions or issues. It would be great to have the whole cohort there.
Each year Balaklava High School gives students in their first year of high school the opportunity to participate in an aquatics camp, run out of Port Vincent. The camp is great for building new peer relationships and for staff to also create strong connections with students. It is a 3-day camp (8th, 9th and 10th of February) that includes activities such as; paddle boarding, knee boarding, sailing and kayaking. For many students these are new for them, and they gain so much from trying different experiences.
