I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new families and Year 8 students. It was great to see the students yesterday morning and how quickly they settled into their homegroups to begin their learning. The first day is always filled with a few nerves, but please be reassured that we will continue to support your child each day until high school life becomes second nature.

This year my daughter has also made the transition from primary to high school, and we have found a great resource that we have used together to help start discussions about what she might be going through with useful strategies to help ease the nerves. Year 8 is a very exciting time, where students have the opportunity to build new friendships, participate in specialised subjects and become a part of our high school. We look forward to watching your child embark on their new learning adventure.
