FROM THE VINEYARDS TO THE PLAINS

On Wednesday evening, we had the privilege of hosting the very first From the Vineyards to the Plains concert, where Balaklava High School and Nuriootpa High School came together to share an incredible night of music. ?
We were treated to a wide variety of performances – from soloists and duets, to ensembles and full bands – with music ranging from Metallica and ABBA to Broadway, film scores, and even a little Rick Astley!
Highlights included:
  • ? Stunning solo and duet performances from our Balaklava students
  • ? Nuriootpa’s Percussion & Woodwind Ensemble bringing the energy with fan favourites
  • ? Both schools’ senior bands performing classics and crowd-pleasers
  • ? A combined finale featuring Sweet Disposition and Conga that had everyone smiling and conga lines forming!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our young musicians. Nights like these create memories our students will carry with them for years to come.
