FOOD AND HOSPITALITY
Our Year 11 Food and Hospitality students recently put their skills to the test, catering for the Balaklava Bowling Club's Gala Day. This major catering event gave our students real-world experience, catering for 90 attendees. The students were responsible for preparing morning tea, lunch, dessert and afternoon tea.
Working in teams, they managed everything from food safety to presentation, demonstrating the importance of teamwork, timing and attention to detail. This hands-on experience was a fantastic opportunity for the students to showcase what they’ve learned in class and gain valuable insights into the catering industry. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication. A fantastic opportunity to showcase our skills within our community.
