CHILD STUDIES
Our Year 10 Child Studies students have been busy with a hands-on project designed to foster creativity, precision, and understanding of early childhood development. Tasked with creating a hand-sewn baby mobile, students have explored how eye-catching designs, colours, and textures can stimulate a baby’s cognitive and sensory development. Each mobile is carefully crafted with soft materials like felt prioritising safety while ensuring the mobiles are attractive and engaging for infants. This project has allowed students to practice sewing skills, develop their design concepts, and gain insight into the thoughtful planning behind baby products.
